    This describes my most recent experience:
    I was moving from MD to PA, a distance of about 80 miles. I was moving from a townhouse to an apartment, and needed the movers to store some of my things
    as part of the move.
    Initial call: I made a call about 3 days from my move - my move was unbelievably last minute. It was Sunday, and I requested a Tuesday or Wednesday move. They estimated availability for a crew on Wednesday and asked me to fill out the request online.   Read more... »

    Quote: I went online to input my request. The process took about 30 minutes, as I was as detailed as possible about how much I was moving, including dimensions. A quote was returned to me within 6 hours.
    Contract: I accepted the quote minutes after it was sent to me. No more than three hours later, I had a contract to e-sign. The contract is straightforward.
    Move: My two-man crew was to show up between 9-10am. They called at 8:50am on move day to let me know they'd arrive within a half-hour. Their arrival was prompt.
    I showed the guys what they'd be moving. I had tried to separate things according to where they'd be moved to: some things were going to storage, the rest to my new home. The crew didn't bat an eye, and followed up as necessary to make sure items were loaded properly to make it to their intended destination.

    The men worked quickly. They wrapped and packed a few items that I had not had time to box (and made sure to know where the leftovers were headed before doing so). They handled my furniture very professionally, inspecting it, wrapping it, and moving it to prevent damage to the furniture and to the premises. I tried to keep them hydrated and moving with water and snacks. (I offered pizza, but they insisted they'd acquire their own [healthy] lunch).
    The movers made the first stop at my storage unit and unloaded the items to be stored without any trouble. They stacked / stored items in storage very efficiently - I have space leftover because they stacked things so well.
    I had them meet someone at my final destination to unload the remainder of my things. They unloaded everything perfectly, and they reassembled the furniture they had taken apart.

    Both times, Pro100 beat the quotes of other moving companies BY FAR. There were no hidden fees. The only con is the cost of using their packing materials as necessary - boxes can be quite pricey, but I still paid between $500 and $2,500 less than their competitors, and the service was exceptional.

    I'd highly recommend Pro100 for your next move. After this experience, and having heard horror stories about other companies, I hope Pro100 is available for me next time I need them.

  • I have recently used Pro1000movers to move from Rockville, MD to Peoria,IL for two bedroom. The contact manager Stepan had been extremely helpful and supportive and planned out my move very well. Just to mention I rescheduled my pick-up date atleast three times and Stepan had been extremely accommodating to keep my request. Stepan and another person picked up all my stuff in less than an hour. He provided me an estimate first (non-binding contract) to show to my company to get approval, then a binding contract as his rates were the most economical out of three quotation i received, he also provided me a proper invoice for my initial payment during pick-up and am sure i will get another proper invoice for my final payment on the date of delivery.

    The entire moving experience with Pro1000movers and Stepan had been extremely relaxing and comfortable. It was a hectic move for me as my organization gave me just a week to move to the new location and i have to admit their service was outstanding.
    I will definitely use their service in future, if need be.

  • This is going to be a longish review but if you are seriously thinking about using this company, please take the time to read it.
    I researched a lot of companies and since the reviews for Pro100 was mixed, I was a little leery. However, my contact with them was professional and since money was an issue and their rates were very good, I crossed my fingers and went with it.

    They were scheduled to arrive 8-8:30 and called me at 8:30 apologizing because they had tried me at my work number first. My fault, not theirs. They were at my door at 8:35 and ready to start. Even as one of the gentlemen started going through the paperwork with me, the other two wasted no time in grabbing boxes.
    I moved a 1 bedroom plus study. They had the truck loaded in 50 minutes. I was wowed. We all headed out at the same time - me to turn in my keys and them to hit the road.     When I arrived at my new apartment complex, I was told that the apartment would not be ready for 2 hours! WTH?? In the meantime, Pro100 arrived and called me. I explained the situation to them, at a loss on what to do. They could not wait as they had another job to go to. The lead mover (I wish I had written down their names because they were wonderful and deserve many personal kudos) came up with the solution: they would unload everything into the hallway and the office could possibly send another crew to take things into the apartment when it was ready. Of course, this would cost extra but that was not due to anything they had done. Fortunately, my new complex agreed to compensate me for the extra cost.
    They quickly unloaded the truck. The total move took 3 hours and that included a 45 minute drive to the new location and the new apartment on the 3rd floor.
    I called the office and spoke with Kate (who, by the way, is very professional and personable) and she was aware of the situation. I told her the apartment would be ready and could they send someone in 2 hours. She said she would call me back in 5 minutes. She did so and told me they could send a 2 man crew in the time frame requested. Normally they charge a minimum of 2 hours for just labor at $90/hour but since they already did the other part of my move, they discounted it. I am reluctant to say how much because I don't want to back them into any corner to offer similar discounts. As professional and considerate as these folks were to me, I could not do that to them. Let's just say it was a very satisfying discount.
    The two movers arrived at the time requested and got everything moved inside and in the proper rooms within 45 minutes. Again, these gentlemen were professional, kind and FAST. Since I was paying for 2 hours and they were done quickly, they kept offering to do more things: assemble and move furniture, removing packing materials, etc. There really was not that much to do since they were so efficient to start with so I let them go.
    I don't know who the people with the negative reviews dealt with but everyone I dealt with at Pro100 was professional, understanding, kind and efficient. They made what could have been a nightmare into an almost pleasant experience -- if moving could ever be considered pleasant. I left my previous apartment because of a home invasion so this move was stressful from the get-go. How wonderful that I came across movers who took such good care of me.
    If you are unsure of who you will use, I HIGHLY recommend Pro100. If I could give 10 stars, I would. I know they say "you get what you pay for" but I got much, much more than what I paid for. God, I hope I don't have to move again for a very long time but if I do, I won't even consider another mover. These are my go-to guys from here on out and I'll recommend them to anyone who asks. They have a life-long fan in me.

  • LOVE these guys. Here's the skinny: Moving from 2 places into 1; Columbia and Baltimore to Philly. Al (Alex) gave me a quote based on the the info i gave him (mind you, i had videos) and he was spot on! I was nervous based on the rating, but we went with them because the people that actually used them seemed to have good things to say. Plus they have all the legit backing.

    Correspondence: all via email (my choice) and even though it wasn't lightening fast, he was straight to the point when he did email back. Answered all my questions.   Read more... »

    The move: They had the best rates and he and his guys worked fast, hard, and in the rain! I don't need uniforms, they had t-shirts with the logos on it and that was totally professional enough for us. They came in guns blazing, Al included, and got right down to business hauling out the stuff from my townhouse. They'd ask before taking things out (I shared a house with my sister), but i had it all lines up and ready to go. They even offered to take things that weren't packed. And they were fast.
    Husbands apt was on the 9th floor, so it took a little longer, but they even took stuff out and moved it to the dumpster for him. I headed up to Philly ahead of them to get the place ready, and they called when they were 30 out so i knew when to expect them. They unloaded that truck lightening fast and made sure to put everything right where i wanted it. We asked them to assemble a bed that was already apart when they moved it, and they were more than willing. All in all, amazing (3) guys.
    The price: Hands down the most affordable movers. I price compared with several (talking 5 or so) other companies and they were about half the cost of the next cheapest. We paid with a credit card and gave them a great tip (deserved!).

I had an absolutely terrible experience with another company for this same move (short version, don't hire a broker), and was left with a house full of boxes and no way to move. Cue frantic googling, and Pro100 worked with me on a Sunday to make my move happen that coming week (pickup in Maryland on Monday, delivery to Tennessee on Wednesday). Kate was who I texted and emailed with on that Sunday to get things set up, and she was super professional and helpful and answered every question within minutes.     On moving day, 3 guys showed up as contracted (CJ as leader). They were nice, polite, efficient, and very careful with my stuff. They moved much quicker than expected, made absolutely no complaints about how heavy items were, and took furniture apart easily and respectfully. I had a second pickup location, and they were exactly the same there.
    Two guys made the drive to TN and showed up within their scheduled time frame on Wednesday for delivery. They'd also texted me that morning to let me know their ETA. CJ was again the leader. They unpacked the truck even quicker than they'd loaded it (both times they came in either exactly at or faster than the estimated time in the contract) and put furniture together with no problems. They were even willing, and I appreciated this a lot, to move furniture around within a room if I changed my mind about where I wanted things to be.
    Everyone I worked with at Pro100 was nice, polite, respectful, super helpful, and seemed to be really good at their job. They were even willing to engage me in conversation and joke around a little bit, which I liked--working with people handling all of your stuff, it was nice to get to know them, even a little bit. It was so refreshing to be quoted a price and then to actually pay less than that quote (5% off for paying in cash!). Nothing was broken or damaged in any way (minor miracle). An excellent, excellent experience from start to finish.
